About Lauren

Lauren (she/her) is a translator, copywriter, visual storyteller, community organizer, and mami to a bilingual five-year-old. Born and raised in Chicago, she has experience living and working in Mexico and Spain.

She is currently based in Houston, TX. 

Approach

Driven by a passion for storytelling and transformative change, Lauren is on a mission to help organizations and communities communicate across language barriers in ways that inspire action.

She believes that everyone has the power to close the gap between the world we live in now and the world we want to live in.

Her approach combines community organizing experience with data-informed narrative strategies, translation rooted in language justice, and ethical storytelling so that we can travel that distance together.
