I offer tailored guidance on developing transformative multilingual spaces and community engagement. My role as a language justice guide is to help you prepare the environment that will nurture engagement, curiosity, collective power, and interdependence across linguistic borders.

What this looks like depends on your need and context. I offer consulting if you want to meet virtually to discuss how language justice can deepen your work. I also offer special packages for training your staff/membership, for learning how to budget for multilingual services, and for conducting organizational self-assessments and goal setting. Let’s discuss which option best fits your needs!

Style Guides

I work with you to develop a style guide for your organization’s print and digital communications.

Style guides are comprehensive documents that provide guidelines and rules for writing, formatting, and translating text. These guides ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality in both original content creation and translated materials. They are essential tools for the writers, editors, and translators in your organization.

Key elements can include the following:

  • Language and Grammar Rules
  • Tone and Style
  • Cultural Sensitivity
  • Terminology
  • Formatting
  • Translation-Specific Guidelines

Editing & Proofreading

I edit and proofread monolingual texts in Spanish and English, as well as translations done by third parties. I’ll work closely with you to establish your needs, whether that is proofreading for style and usage, editing for non-biased and inclusive language, correcting for grammar and punctuation, or verifying accuracy.
